You can get a kit for almost any design. Gazebo kits are usually made from pressure treated pine wood or solid cedar and don’t require and additional tools or materials.
The gazebo kit is the more expensive of both options. Both the expert and the company that sells the kits want to be paid for their work. In a nutshell, you will do little work yourself but pay other people to do it for you.
Now on to the second option: Get a gazebo plan and build a gazebo yourself. In my opinion that’s more an advantage than a hassle. This kind of construction can relieve you of stress and of course is lots of fun.
A gazebo plan gives you a complete list of materials that are required to build your own masterpiece. This way you will know exactly how much of every material you are goind go need and – more importantly – how to assemble it.
The most important part of every gazebo plan is the blueprint itself. Building a gazebo without a blueprint is not only difficult – there are just too many mistakes you can make. Taking the risk is just not worth it.
Now, before you start with the assembly, get yourself accustomed to your local law. Believe it or not, many areas have special laws and regulations about constructions like a gazebo that you will definitely have to know about.
